Updated daily from TMDB. Availability can shift without notice when platforms update their libraries — we sync as fast as their API allows.

Why does availability differ by region?

Licensing is regional. The same show may be on Netflix in the UK but not in Germany. We show you what's available where you actually are.

How does the watchlist work?

Add any movie or show. Set its status: Plan to Watch, Watching, Watched, On Hold, or Dropped. Rate 1–5 stars. Everything syncs to your account.

Can I import from another service?

You can import public TMDB lists directly from any of your lists. Letterboxd and Trakt imports are on the roadmap.

Yes by default. Your watchlist is only visible to you. Lists can be made public if you choose.

What statuses can I set on my watchlist?

Five: Plan to Watch, Watching, On Hold, Completed, Dropped. Set them from any title page or your dashboard.

What's the difference between Watching and Completed?

Watching means you're actively in it. Completed means you finished every episode (or the movie). A show that's still airing can't be marked Completed — fivo.to blocks that and keeps it as Watching until the show ends.

What happens when I drop something?

Status changes to Dropped. It stays on your dashboard so you can see what you quit. You can always change it back.

What's On Hold?

You stopped but plan to return. Different from Dropped — On Hold says "I'm not done with this yet."

Does adding something to my watchlist auto-set a status?

Yes. New additions default to Plan to Watch. When you rate or review a movie it advances to Completed. For TV shows, you manually set Watching or Completed.

Can I track individual episodes?

Episode-level tracking is on the roadmap. When shipped, you'll be able to mark episodes one-by-one or by season in bulk. Finishing the last episode auto-completes the show.

What's the difference between a rating and a review?

Ratings are 1–5 stars, set from your watchlist. Reviews are text — minimum 10 characters, max 4,000. Both are optional.

How are lists different from the watchlist?

Your watchlist tracks your personal viewing status. Lists are themed collections you curate — "Best heist movies", "Shows to watch with kids", etc. Lists can be public or private.

Yes. Make the list public and share the URL. Anyone can view it without an account.

Up to 1,000 items per list. You can have unlimited lists.

How do I import from TMDB?

From My Lists, click "Import". Paste a TMDB list URL (e.g. themoviedb.org/list/12345) or just the numeric ID. fivo.to fetches all items and adds them to a new or existing list. Earns 15 pts.

How do I import from a CSV or Excel file?

Click "Import" → "CSV / Excel" tab. Download the template first. Fill in at least one of: tmdb_id, imdb_id, or title+year. Upload the file. fivo.to resolves each row to TMDB and imports what it finds.

What columns does the CSV template support?

title (required if no ID), year, type (movie/tv), tmdb_id, imdb_id. If you provide tmdb_id, that row is imported instantly. imdb_id is the second fallback. title+year does a fuzzy TMDB search.

How do I edit items in a list?

Open the list, click "Edit list". Each poster gets a checkbox (select) and a pencil icon (replace). Select multiple items to bulk delete or move them up/down. Click the pencil to search for a replacement title.

Create a list: 20 pts. Add an item: 3 pts each. Import a TMDB list: 15 pts. Import via CSV/Excel: 15 pts. Replace an item: 3 pts. No points for deleting.
